How do I see available dates & times?You can visit our booking site HERE to see all available party dates and times.

Can we bring our own food & treats?Yes! Parties are the only time we permit guests to bring in their own food or beverages. Alcohol and catering/chafing dishes with open flames are not permitted.

What is the deposit?The deposit to book and hold a date and time for any party package is $100. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

When do I pay the final balance?Our staff will call you the Monday prior to your party to confirm & finalize details, get to know information about the birthday child, and to take payment of the final balance. The balance must be paid in full prior to the start of the party.

Can I choose a package now and change it later?Absolutely! If you're deciding between two packages, we recommend booking at the LOWER package level, and upgrading once you've made the decision! You have until the Monday prior to the party to make any necessary changes or additions to your booking.

How early can I come to set up?We offer families a complimentary 10 minutes prior to the start of their party timeslot to load in any food & decorations. Our staff will be happy to help you carry everything in & decorate!

Is the play cafe open to the public during parties?Our celebration bookings are private timeslots, which means that the space is reserved for you & your invited guests only! You will have private use of the space for the 1.5 hour duration of your party.

Is the cafe open during parties?Generally speaking, yes! If the staff is running games or activities with the children, the cafe may be temporarily unavailable, but will be open for the half-hour of celebration time in the party room/cafe area. You may opt to have guest purchases added to your birthday party balance, or for guests to purchase their own beverages/snacks.

Can children be dropped off for the party?All children in the play cafe must have a current waiver signed by a legal guardian, and they must be picked up promptly at the end of the specified party time. For the duration of the party, any child dropped off is the responsibility of the host family, not To The Stars Play Cafe staff.

Do the prices include tax and tip?All party bookings are subject to 9.35% sales tax in addition to the package price. Tips are always appreciated for amazing service, but are never expected or required! If you opt to leave a gratuity, you have the option to do so on your credit card or with cash.

What does the structure look like?The birthday family is welcome to arrive up to 10 minutes prior to the start of the party time to bring in food and decorations. At least one staff member will be on site to welcome you and to assist in bringing things inside and setting up. As guests begin arriving, our staff member will transition to the cafe space to welcome your guests, ensure waivers are signed for all children, and to explain our rules and policies for everyone. Then it's party time! The first hour of the event is dedicated to play -- adults are responsible for supervising their child's play. If you've booked a Constellation or Galaxy package, our staff will plan and lead fun games and activities during this time, leaving plenty of time for independent play, too! The last 30 minutes of your party are reserved for food, cake, and singing Happy Birthday! If you feel like an hour and a half just isn't long enough, we do have the option to add an additional 1/2 hour to your party package. This must be requested and paid in full by the Monday prior to your party date! When the fun comes to a close, our staff handles all of the clean up.
